Kenyan General Elections, 2013

The Kenyan general elections will be held on 4 March 2013 to elect the President, Senators, County Governors, Members of Parliament, Civic Wards and Women County Representatives. These will be the first elections held under the new constitution, which was passed during the 2010 referendum. The first general elections run by Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Prayer Service for our country Kenya 2-24

Pastor Timothy Gakunju of New Beginnings Fellowship together with Kenyan Cincinnati Association Cordially invite you to a prayer service for our country KENYA as we enter the election period. Set aside that time and join Kenyans and friends in the Greater Cincinnati Tri-state area for this prayer session.

For the Lord says in 2nd Chronicles 7:14 that;”If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

There will be a one hour KCA meeting right after the prayer service(1-2pm) and you are all encouraged to attend as there will be important matters affecting all of us in the TRI-STATE discussed.

All are welcome.

Christmas/Jamuhuri party

Your active participation and engagement in our last event this year is encouraged and appreciated.
Venue:- Wetherington golf club Lodge, 7645 Wetherington Drive, West Chester, Ohio 45069.
Time:- 7pm to 11pm please be prompt.
Date:- December 23rd 2012.

Program:- Shared finger foods encouraged. You are are all encouraged to bring a dish to share (Finger foods) like; Tray of mini meat kebabs, Meat balls, Samosas (meat and vegetable), Chicken wings, Veggie tray and dips, Chips and dips, Cheese and meat trays, Mandazis, Soda pop and Water etc.

All alcoholic beverages are to be purchased from the club as part of their policy.

Nancy Odipo along with Terri Mafazy will be coordinating the food item list please get in touch with either of them to avoid duplication of food items for the evening.

Dress code:- Christmas or Jamuhuri theme.

Christmas presents:- Parents are encouraged to limit gift items to $20 dollars for the children, to avoid ill feelings among the children as they open their presents that evening. Please wrap and label the presents for your children clearly and they will be placed under the Christmas tree to be distributed later that evening.
