Thanks for attending our annual KCA Dinner

We would like to extend a sincere thank you for the support we received during our annual dinner event, October 5th, 2013. The event was great fun, with fabulous music, delicious food, and a wonderful collection of silent auction items. Together with your support we raised funds that will be used to provide school fees for children in need.

Kenyan-Cincinnati Annual Dinner 2013 – Celebrating 10 Years

On October 5 2013, KCA will be hosting a dinner to not only help sustain school fees for orphaned children and those from select poverty stricken communities but also hopefully recruit more children who can benefit from this program thus enable them to attend and/or attain formal elementary and high school education.

Where: Green Township Senior Center, 3620 Eply Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247.

The dinner will feature a speech,authentic Kenyan Cuisine, Video clips on Kenya as a Nation, raffle draws with an opportunity to win some exclusive crafts from Kenya, a DVD player, gift certificates and a moment to socialize and interact after dinner are all included in the list of events for the evening. The doors open at 6 pm.

Tickets: General $30, Students $20 and Children $10.

KCA Family Picnic July 2013

Mark your calendars’ for a special family picnic event scheduled for Saturday 20th July, which will be preceded by a short executive meeting lasting about 45 mins. The men will then fire the grills and barbecue, Ladies bring your appetites, relax and be served.
Venue:- Bicentennial Park in green township, 2885 Diehl Road, Cincinnati, OH 45211.
Time:- 12 noon to Dusk (8.30pm-9pm)
Dress code:- casual or sports outfit to participate in afternoon activities.
Activities:- swing station for children, 3/4 mile jog, walk, run circuit, bike rides(bring bicycle if you can), Soccer.
Sheltered pavilion rental includes permit for all kinds of beverages, please bring beverage of your choice, men bring an item for barbecue along with a side snack or dish. Remember it is a treat for the women and the children. Let us take these opportunities to interact and meet new Kenyan families moving into the tri-state metro area.
