Supporting Education across the globe

Members come out to the Support the Andrew B. Foundation which was formed by Mason resident Maggie Githuku (Andrew’s sister) in 2012 in memory of Andrew B. Masinde, who passed away following a tragic road accident in Kenya.

The foundation was formed with the primary objective of providing educational scholarships to talented and financially needy Kenyan students for high school and college education in Kenya. In addition, these students would be provided mentorship and internship opportunities to ensure that they are successful in their education and that they become productive members of their communities.

The race was held Sunday, September 29 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The 5K course ran through Mason’s beautiful Pine Hill Lakes Park and Corwin M. Nixon Park.
