2015 World Refugee Day Cup

Join us for a World Cup-like soccer tournament to celebrate World Refugee Day! Teams representing various countries will compete at this event brought to you by Junior League of Cincinnati’s Refugee Connect Program. You can watch the tournament, browse the resource fair and learn about different cultures! Food and other games for children will be available. Come cheer for the Kenyan team!!!

When: Saturday, June 13 at 8:00am – 4:00pm

Annual Fundraising Dinner 2014

Date: – Saturday November 15th 2014,
Time: – 7 Pm to 11PM (12Midnight).
Venue: – Twin Lanterns Banquet Hall,
6191 Harrison Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247.

Guest of Honor and Keynote address; Dr. Mark Snyder. (Head of the Orthopedic department with Trihealth Hospitals in Cincinnati and also an accomplished Harvard scholar. He was recently in Kenya and Uganda on a pilot teaching project focusing on how to marginally reduce and subsequently eliminate parasitic infections and diseases that have plagued most of the third world countries).

Title of his address is “World Cure”

Seats are limited and it is a pre-payment dinner, please note there will be NO payments at the door
Adults: – $35 dollars
Children 6-12years old: – $15 dollars

World Refugee Day Cup

Do you love the beautiful game of Soccer? Do you enjoy being around beautiful from around the world? Then come and commemorate World Refugee Day with us at the World Refugee Day Cup presented by JLC RefugeeConnect + the Red Cross:

When: Saturday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Taft High School
420 Ezzard Charles Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45214
Admission: Free

The event will feature teams from refugee, immigrant in the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky area. We will have music, refreshments and an all-round cultural ambiance! Please come in your cultural attire.

The games will be 20 minutes long and each team will have nine players on the field at the beginning of every game.
